Atlanta Arab Festival - Saturday, April 30th & Sunday, May 1st at the Alif Institute

In 2006, Alif Institute organized its first Arab American Family Day in cooperation with the Arab American Women’s Society of Georgia. The event featured educational displays about the Arab culture and Arab Americans, live music performance, folk dancing, traditional Arab costumes show, and various activities for children.

Over the years, the event became an annual tradition that the community enjoys and looks forward to. In 2010, the Family Day grew to become a two-day event that drew about 1500 attendees, and the Atlanta Arab Festival was born.
