Author Emily Giffin To Appear At The AJC Decatur Book Festival

The AJC Decatur Book Festival is coming to Decatur on September 3-5, 2010. During the following weeks, we will be featuring various authors who will appear during the festival.

This week's featured author is Emily Giffin. Giffin will talk about her latest book, The Heart of the Matter, Saturday at 11:15 a.m. at the First Baptist Decatur Sanctuary Stage during the 2010 AJC Decatur Book Festival Presented by DeKalb Medical.

The Chicago native has been dubbed a "modern day Jane Austen" and a "dependably down-to-earth storyteller," for her New York Times bestsellers, Something Borrowed (2004), Something Blue (2005), Baby Proof (2006) and Love the One You're With (2008).

Her novels have been translated into 29 languages, with five million copies in print worldwide. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and three young children. She is currently at work on her sixth novel and a screenplay for Baby Proof.
