Salvador Dali: New Additions to the OUMA Permanent Collection

The Oglethorpe Museum of Art recently received a gift of 14 original Salvador Dali lithographs (including 12 four-color prints).

These lithographs by the surrealist Spanish master (1904-1989) are now part of the museum’s permanent collection and have never before been exhibited to the public.

UTRILLO: THE MAGIC OF MONTMARTRE

Enjoy a collection of paintings by Maurice Utrillo (1888-1955); the prominent artist of the romantic and picturesque Sacre Coeur section of Paris. Utrillo is one of the few famous painters of Montmartre who were born there.

The artwork in this exhibition is compliments of a private collection and has never before been shown together. The collection is on display through September 5, 2010 at the Oglethorpe University Museum located at 4484 Peachtree Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30319.
