The High Museum of Art will present "Lights, Camera, Dali" as part of the Film Series - Dali: A Passion for Film at the Rich Theater on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 8 to 10 p.m.
Salvador Dalí's antic personality and love of the limelight made him a natural performer. This program of shorts looks at Dalí as a celebrity and on-screen personality. Included are Jack Bond's "Dalí in New York," Andy Warhol's "Dalí Screen Tests," and Jonas Mekas's "New York Encounters with Dalí."
The film complements the current exhibition Dali: The Late Work now on display through January 9, 2010 that has attracted media attention from across the country.
