For nearly forty years, Stone Mountain Village has hosted a festival on Father’s Day weekend and this year is no exception. The 2010 Grillin’ in the Village BBQ Festival all day on June 19th will be one of the biggest in the Village’s history and will include a professional and backyard BBQ competition, live music into the night, a classic car show and arts and crafts.
The music will begin at 11am and flow into the night with several bands from around the Atlanta area that are sure to please every taste including The Charlie Wooten Band and The Blind Willie's Revue: The Shadows, Sandra Hall & Luther “Houserocker”.
If you are into classic cars this festival will suit you as well. As part of the Village Cruise-In series, the South DeKalb Street Rodders will partner up to bring some of the best cars in the area. There will be other activities as well including a kids area, arts and crafts, and food for every taste including some of the best BBQ in Atlanta.
