Artists in Georgia: Contemporary Works from the Collection
On exhibit now through May 16, 2010.
Artists in Georgia: Contemporary Works from the Collection features a selection of 19 drawings, prints, and photographs created since 1970 by 15 artists who are either native to the state or who became Georgians by choice.
Included in the exhibition are works by Annette Cone-Skelton, a native, and transplants John McWilliams and Katherine Mitchell, the recently retired professor of painting in Emory’s Visual Arts Program. All three of these artists are prominently featured, along with the Carlos Museum itself, in the Georgia Masterpieces book.
