This Fall, Fernbank’s Martinis & IMAX® will continue to set the gold standard for hip, cultural nightlife. Held every Friday from January through November, Martinis & IMAX® always features live music, cocktails, cuisine, ambience and IMAX® films on the biggest screen in town. But in October and November, Fernbank will present a golden opportunity to celebrate its newest exhibition with even more panache.
Fernbank will extend viewing hours for GOLD on Fridays during Martinis & IMAX® through November 27, offering an opportunity to view this incredible exhibition of rare gold specimens, cultural objects, jewelry, sunken treasures, coins, bars, awards, and more, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. in addition to regular daily viewing hours.
Additionally, Fernbank has announced a series of “Golden Oldies” film nights to Martinis & IMAX®. The series includes a variety of “g-oldies but goodies,” including Austin Powers in Goldmember, James Bond’s Goldfinger, the Halloween favorite Beetlejuice, the cult-classic The Goonies, and the disco-themed Saturday Night Fever. All films will be presented in the IMAX® Theatre, but are not projected in the IMAX® format.
